Magna Carta Legal Services, founded in 2014 by Amanda Richards, a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. With over two decades of comprehensive experience spanning legal practice, retail management, and legal education, Ms. Richards brings a multifaceted background to her role. In addition to her extensive legal and managerial expertise, she has served as a legal educator, generously sharing her knowledge and insights with future legal professionals. Ms. Richards' personable approach not only fosters early resolutions for many client matters but also extends to her role as a mentor, hosting and guiding aspiring legal students in their educational journey. Actively engaged in every facet of the practice, Ms. Richards personally oversees all client affairs within the firm.

Working alongside Ms. Richards is Keren Barak, a dedicated part-time paralegal. Currently pursuing further education to become a lawyer, Ms. Barak contributes her growing expertise to the dynamic services offered by Magna Carta Legal Services.

We have the valuable support of Ms. Shannon Issawi, a recently licensed paralegal who, despite her recent licensing, has seamlessly transitioned into the role of a trusted legal assistant with Ms. Richards. Ms. Issawi brings a unique background as a licensed mortgage professional, and her commitment to excellence and diverse skill set make her an invaluable member of our client-focused approach.
